Pimples are, in fact, one of the most stressful things to spot in the morning. They are red, they are ugly and they can also be infectious. For a lot of people, pimples are a complete nightmare.
The moment we spot a pimple on our face we start thinking of all the possible ways to get rid of it as soon as possible.

The question is: can you do anything about it without having to indulge in expensive medication? The answer is yes! Try some of these simple and natural home remedies to fight off those pesky pimples:


1. Lemon:


Take 1 lemon and squeeze it in a bowl. now take a cotton ball and dip it in lemon solution. Now apply directly the lemon juice to acne with the help of cotton. Leave it like for 5-6 hour, or overnight. In morning, wash your face with lukewarm water.Lemon juice helps pimples dry up faster. Be sure to use fresh lemon juice and not bottled juice, which has preservatives.


2. Ice:


Wrap the ice in a piece of cloth and hold it on the affected skin area for a few seconds.

Wait a few minutes and repeat the process.
It helps in improving blood circulation to the affected area, and in tightening the skin pores and removing dirt and oil accumulated on the skin. You can use ice cubes or crushed ice, whichever is convenient.

3. Honey:


Honey is the best thing for acne, It is a natural antibiotic which makes it perfect for healing and reducing pimples, It kills skin bacteria.

Take a little honey in your hand and apply it to the affected area.

4. Tea Tree Oil:


Tea tree oil is an anti-bacterial and antifungal medicine used for a wide variety of medical applications,  which makes it highly beneficial for acne treatment.

- Just dip a cotton ball in tea tree essential oil and dab it on the affected area. Rinse your face after 15 to 20 minutes.
- Or simply, mix a few drops of tea tree oil in 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply it on your pimples and blemishes, leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

5. Toothpaste:

It is effective because it contains silica. It is most effective when used following the ice remedy. You must use white toothpaste, avoid using gel toothpaste.
- Simply apply some to the affected area before sleep and wash it off in the             morning.

6. Papaya:

Papaya helps to remove dead skin cells and extra layer of oil from the skin. It has an enzyme called Papain which reduces inflammation and prevents pus from forming.

7. Aspirin:

Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory so it can be a quick and cheap way to help reduce a pimple. 
- Crush an aspirin tablet and add a few drops of water to make a paste of it, mix well to form a paste and apply to the pimple.
- Let the paste dry. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory agent, and helps reduce the swelling due to accumulated pus.
- Leave the paste overnight and wash off in the morning. The pimple is less discernible after its aspirin treatment.

8. Banana Peel:

The peels are effective in treating acne. The peel has lutein, which is a very powerful antioxidant that helps to reduce inflammation and allows healthy cell growth.
- Rub the peel on your face in a circular motion to get relief from the redness and discomfort caused by acne.
- When you have covered your face entirely with the peel, keep it for 30 minutes and then wash it off.

9. Garlic:

Garlic is fantastic for fighting acne due to its high levels of antioxidants, as well as its’ anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties. There are two ways you can use garlic to clear up acne. 
The first is a preventative measure, which is simply by adding more garlic to your diet. This helps your general health as well as purifies your blood, which can help to stop future break outs.
For more immediate results, take a peeled clove of garlic and rub it on the troubled area several times a day. If your skin is sensitive, try crushing the garlic and mixing it with some water.

10. Steam:

Steam can be helpful for treating acne because it helps to open up your pores, which prevents them from being clogged. 
Steam also moisturizes and detoxifies your skin.

11. Cucumber:

Cucumber works as a great anti-inflammatory, reducing the swelling and redness of pimples on your face. Blend up some cucumbers, or soak a chopped cucumber in water to create a cucumber juice. When you wash you face at night, rinse with this instead of regular water and pat dry.

12. Egg Whites:

Egg whites also make a great home remedy for getting rid of pimples. To use this method, simply separate the egg white from the yolk. Then, you can use a cotton swab, cotton ball, or simply your fingers to apply the egg white to your skin. Your skin will glow and begin to tighten. Leave the egg white mixture on your skin for up to an hour for best results.

13. Orange Peel:

It is also good for the acne removing overnight. The orange peel rubbed on the acne for 2-3 minutes and leave it overnight.
Wash the face gently in the morning.

14. Get control of your stress levels:

Stress creates sebum, the oil that builds up and causes your unsightly pimples. To get your sebum levels under control, take steps to de-stress on a daily basis. Spend some time away from your work, school, or high maintenance people and you’ll be praising your clear skin in no time.

Sleep is your body’s way of clearing out toxins and hormonal buildup in your body. If you don’t get enough sleep, these bad chemicals will increase and cause your skin to break out.

16. Drink plenty of water:
